As the New Year’s eve fades into the oblivion, the IEEE JOURNAL OF ELECTRON DEVICES SOCIETY (J-EDS) enters its fourth year of Multi-Tools existence.The publication is experiencing a steady healthy organic growth and with support from authors and reviewers alike it will continue to blossom.Authors will be pleased to know that starting Volume 1 published in January 2013, J-EDS has been selected for coverage in the Web of Science Journal Citation Reports, Core Collection and Current Contents Connect.

This is exceptional news for the technical community since it gives everyone seamless cross-referencing of the research being published in J-EDS.The launch of J-EDS was a strategic move on my part as the then President of the IEEE Electron Devices Society Creator T-Shirt (EDS).I am confident it will serve the interests of EDS and the global technical community in an ever-changing publication landscape.
